Amazingly creamy on the nose with vanilla pods in cream with fresh fruit salad, tropical and sweet fruits with a really juicy nose that you could just sit and sniff all night long.
Recently I won tickets from the The Scotch Malt Whisky Society for myself and 3 friends to attend the Glorious 12 Rare Whisky and Game Tapas tasting which I went along to on friday of last week..
There were some truly fabulous drams and the food was at the same brilliant standard I have came to expect from the
The Scotch Malt Whisky Society with my favourite pairing being the Venison and 27.107 To The Manor Born.
Many thanks again to the
The Scotch Malt Whisky Society for the prize win and if you are interested why not book a tasting yourself via their website here (on until the 20th October) and you even get your cover price back against the cost of membership if you join on the night, something that
I really can't recommend highly enough.
This was tasted as part of the The Scotch Malt Whisky Society Glorious 12 Rare Whisky and Game Tapas tasting which i attended with some friends and this was 2.88 Cinderella Weeping over Matchmakers served with partridge in bacon with cabbage and was particularly yummy.
The food was fantastic and the dram even more so, this is totally unlike anything you would get from the standard own bottlings from this distillery and was a beautiful dram that we polished off the end of the bottle, one i wish i'd got a bottle of.
I really can't recommend enough the The Scotch Malt Whisky Society
Amazingly creamy on the nose with vanilla pods in cream with fresh fruit salad, tropical and sweet fruits with a really juicy nose that you could just sit and sniff all night long.

This was tasted as part of the The Scotch Malt Whisky Society Glorious 12 Rare Whisky and Game Tapas tasting which i attended with some friends and this was 27.107 To The Manor Born with some amazingly juicy venison.
This pairing was the one that worked best for me, an oily, dirty, slightly peaty/very malty sweet dram with juicy, venison, who could resist that..
I really can't recommend enough the The Scotch Malt Whisky Society
A wonderful mix of sweet sweet sherry notes and dirty engine oil entwined with lots of sweet juicyness and hints of gentle malty smoke
oh wow oh wow this is huge and oily with a dirty engine oil and sweet notes with hints of clove and tropical fruit juice
this one hints hard and fast and keeps going, yummy

The food was a bit too game(y) for me but the dram was right up my street, it's a fantastic, yummy, thick and juicy dram that really works for me.

This was tasted as part of the The Scotch Malt Whisky Society Glorious 12 Rare Whisky and Game Tapas tasting which i attended with some friend and this was 9.91 A whispering Dram which was served with Mallard Duck
I've had a few from this distillery now and really been impressed with the soft and subtle flavours of vanilla and melon which worked really well with the duck.
I really can't recommend enough the The Scotch Malt Whisky Society
A large melon note comes in first with honeydew and galia melon combining with madagascan vanilla and hints of sherbert dib dabs
sweet juicy oakiness with more of the galia melon and sprinkles of sherbert , this is a very tasty dram
sweet melony
