Glenlivet 1998 (Whiskybrother Exclusive) Review

Glenlivet 1998 whiskybrotherOccasionally as a Whisky Blogger I get to try some fabulous and exclusive whiskies and this Glenlivet 1998 bottled exclusively for the Whisky Brother Shop in South Africa is one such bottle.

Selected by Marc (@whiskybrother) from the Whisky Brother Shopthis 1998 Glenlivet distilled 28th August 1998 and bottled 24th March 2014 was matured in an ex-oloroso sherry cask. The Picture of the bottle doesn't do the colour of the whisky justice as it really is very dark, almost cola dark.

Hugely sherried with those dark fruits, nuttiness and chocolatey notes that you would expect, this is a fabulous example of a sherried dram and a great example of Glenlivet also, a really good choice by Marc (@whiskybrother)

Available exclusively from Whisky Brother Shop for 1,300 Rand (approx £73) and limited to only 419 bottles this is a great whisky that i would highly recommend.

Thanks to Marc (@whiskybrother) from the Whisky Brother Shop for the official sample of this fabulous sherried Glenlivet.
