Initial cedar wood/ balsa like notes, barley sugars, quite meaty like Parma ham, prosciutto, then interesting fresh watery fruits, watermelon strong in here, almost a note of window putty.
This Glen Moray 16 Year Old was tasted as part of The Spirit of Speyside Dram 16 Winners tweet tasting organised by The Whisky Wire.
I'm a Huge fan of this distillery, the sweet fruity Glen Morays are also seriously well priced and I can't believe I've not reviewed this dram that I've had many many times before.
Available to buy from specialists like Master of Malt.
Thanks to The Spirit of Speyside and The Whisky Wire for including me on this tasting.
