SMWS 127.9 Desperate Dan Whisky Review

smws This Scotch Malt Whisky Society 127.9 Desperate Dan Whisky is another from a friend who has had this bottle for a while.

I've had a few bottlings from this distillery from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society and loved them all, with huge smoky, woody, earthy notes and an interesting note like that arran sweater your granny knitted for you, but with a hint of pickled waxed lemons this is not for the feight of heart.

This is a huge dram and I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to have tried this, if you see a bottle snap it up you'll sip this for hours and taste it for weeks.

Tasting Notes & Details

Wooft that's some tasty smoky yumminess, earthy and full of vanilla and some really heavy woody smoke, dirty barnyard hay, pickled waxed lemons and hand knitted Arran sweater, a mechanics garage

Wow that's hugely earthy and woody but then after the first sip it's tasty and fruity and vanilla and waxed lemons, more Arran wool and a hint of petrol

Holy 5#$€ this is huge and smoky and still there a week later
