Jura 30 Year Old Camas an Staca Review

Isle of Jura 30 Yr I'm always excited when i get to taste something new and rare and even more so when it's from my favourite ever distillery, the brilliant Isle of Jura.

I told you about the upcoming release of this 30 year old "standing Stones" Isle of Jura a little while back in this article and I was lucky enough to get a sample to try.

the 30 Year Old still has all it's family trates like the 10 year Old, 16 year old and 21 year old but brings in some new depth to the flavours.

Watch out for it in shops and remember to sign up as a Diurach at JuraWhisky.com

Thank you to Whyte and Mackay for the Official Sample

Tasting Notes & Details

Has that trademark Jura sweet fruityness that i love, initial thoughts are like the 16 Year old but on steroids! Theres a pine freshness with the oak along with an almost plum like flavour filling the nostrils, sweet and floral.

Not as sweet as the nose would have you think, a bit more tarte, more fruit and fresh pine cones, definitely floral again.

sweet and subtle, very easy to drink
