Balcones Baby Blue Corn Whisky Review

Balcones Baby Blue Corn Whisky Today is July 4th, American Independance Day, and next up in the series of US drams is the Balcones Baby Blue Corn Whisky, with this sample arriving from my good friend Dave Worthington (@whiskydiscovery) from the Whisky Discovery blog.

This Texan treat really is something completely different and well worth trying, so why not pop over to Master of Malt now and grab yourself a bottle.

Tasting Notes & Details

The initial note i get from this dram is Puff Candy, with sugary honeycomb and sweet popcorn with a touch of freshly made caramel sauce over the top of it, there's a "bourbon" like vanilla note in there too but it's very subtle.

more of the puff candy, some sweet demerera sugar covered popcorn and a blast of cinnamon and nutmeg over the top

quite spicy, cinnamon topped puff candy.
